Students Explore the Legal System Through Civics Education Program
Students from the following schools have participated or will participate in a hands-on Civics Education Program at the courthouse.
The Court provides a variety of civics programming designed to deepen students’ understanding of the U.S. legal system. Students may participate in mock trials, reenact notable Supreme Court cases, or discuss how to engage in civil discourse. In addition, students tour the courthouse, observe court proceedings, and meet and talk to judges, lawyers, court staff and the U.S. Marshal Service about a variety of topics, including careers in the legal field.
